Advertising Policy

  • The process of making editorial decisions is independent of advertisements and commercially sponsored content. International Community Health Journal (ICHJ) does not advocate for any products or services that are featured in its advertisements or sponsorships. The editorial material is not swayed by commercial or financial interests or partnerships with advertising clients or sponsors.
  • ICHJ is entitled to reject any advertisements that adversely affect its brand or do not align with the content standards of the ICHJ.
  • It is imperative that advertisements do not contain any deceptive or misleading elements, and all assertions made must be capable of verification. The identity of the advertiser, along with the product or service being presented, must be clearly stated. The use of hyperbolic or extravagant language is not allowed, and advertisements must avoid indecency or offensiveness, as well as any content that pertains to personal, racial, ethnic, sexual orientation, or religious matters.
  • ICHJ refrains from accepting advertisements for any products or services that could be harmful to health.
  • The Editors or Publisher may request the removal of an advertisement from the journal site.
  • Treatment or drug-specific campaigns are prohibited from being directed towards any particular article or webpage that contains content associated with the advertised product(s). Advertisers are not allowed to create links to articles using specific keywords or to reference an article that is published concurrently with the advertisement.
  • Advertisements targeting particular pharmaceuticals should emphasize the importance of their correct and sensible usage and must refrain from presenting any misleading information.
  • It is essential that advertisements and editorial content are clearly differentiated. ICHJ does not accept "advertorial" material, and any sponsored supplements must be clearly marked if they have not undergone peer review or if they have followed a peer review process that differs from that of the journal's standard procedures.
  • The website's editorial choices and search outcomes remain unaffected by any involvement from advertisers and sponsors.
  • Inquiries regarding non-standard advertising positions should be directed to the editorial team.
